Barbarian Family Day 2020 in Aquincum! Join us on 4 October from 10:00 until 18:00!
On Sunday 4 October from 10:00 until 18:00 join us at the Aquincum Museum for our Barbarian Family Day! The Archaeological Park will host barbarian craftsmen and warriors, who introduce visitors to the daily lives of the peoples conquered by Rome and those living beyond the borders of the Empire. Visitors can learn about the culture and customs of Celtic and Germanic peoples during the clash of re-enactors and arts and crafts workshops, and can also take part in special tours, presentations and games.

The number of participants in guided tours in enclosed spaces is limited. Registration at the museum on a first come first served basis.

During the event regular discounts do not apply. Journalists, people with disabilities and their companions, visitors younger than 6 or older than 70, as well as teachers accompanying groups of students can visit the event free of charge!
