Wine festival at the Aquincum Museum on 26 September 2015 (10:00-21:00).
The Aquincum Museum is reviving the festival of Dionysus, god of wine and harvest, patron of the theatre, complete with a festival procession.

10:00 – 18:00 Crafts fair: honey, honey products, honey cake, goat milk and cheese
10:00 – 18:00 Arts and crafts activities: pottery, felting, basket weaving, making wooden tools and toys
10:00 – 21:00 Wine tasting and fair: Cseri Pincészet (Pannonhalma), Illés Pince (Tokaj)
10:00 – 21:00 Roman harvest dishes – La Fiesta Party Service
13:00 – 13:30 The House of the painter comes back to life
11:00 – 15:30 Harvest festivities and games with the Familia Gladiatoria
11:00 Grapes of Aquincum, presentation by archaeologist Zoltán Havas (in Hungarian)
16:00 Festival procession
16:30 – 17:15 Greek dances with Akropolis Kompania
17:15 – 18:00 Harvest festivities – games with prizes
18:00 – 18:45 Ancient harvest festivities with the Familia Gladiatoria
19:00 – 20:00 The adventures of the God of wines by the Szami-Ko Társulat (in Hungarian)
20:00 – 21:00 Wine theatre and wine tasting with actor János Papp and friends and the band Trigonon Együttes
Programmes after 19:00 are only for adults!

Adult: 1800 HUF
Children and seniors: 900 HUF
Family ticket: 4500 HUF
During the event we are only able to accept cash. The usual ticket discounts do not apply.
The usual, monthly day with free entrance date has moved to Sunday, 27 September 2015: when visitors from the European Economic Area (who are under the age of 26, or two close relatives accompanying children under the age of 18) can visit the Aquincum Museum for free.
