During the 2020/2021 academic year, in term time, the Aquincum Museum offers special local history classes for primary and secondary schools. (The classes are in Hungarian.)
Upon request, Aquincum Museum staff hold local history classes in primary and secondary schools in Budapest District III. During the classes students can learn about the Roman heritage of their local area. Based on the latest archaeological data, we present how the school’s surroundings looked like nearly 2000 years ago, what buildings stood there, who lived in them, and what life was like during the first centuries of the Common Era.
