The Aquincum Museum is also joining the 2019 edition of the Night of the Museums on 22 June, 15:00-01:00. Visitors can join among others a gladiator show, dances, and time-traveling tours of the archaeological park. During the night, the House of the painter will come back to life and you can also hear the sounds of the Aquincum organ.

Entry to the museum on 22 June and during the Night of the Museums is only possible with a valid event wristband! During the event – with the exception of the discounts for people with disabilities – the usual discounts (e.g. free entry for Óbuda residents, discounts for senior citizens, and discounts for other pass holders) will not apply. We ask members of the press to notify us in advance of their intent to participate by email: aquincum@aquincum.hu.
Getting to the museum:
Public transport: Bus 34, 134 and 106 (Záhony utca or Aquincum stop), H5 HÉV and train (Aquincum stop) or the Night of the Museum buses.
Parking: at the museum’s car park, via the gate at Szentendrei út 133., and at the car park of the neighbouring shopping centre
