Events at the Aquincum Museum - October 2019
6 October (Sunday)
10:00-18:00: Barbarian Family Day
On Sunday 6 October Celtic and Germanic warriors, arts and crafts workshops, battle and lifestyle re-enactments, fortune telling and games will be awaiting visitors at the Aquincum Museum’s Archaeological Park.
12 October (Saturday)
10:00-15:00: Open Workshop: basket weaving
The Aquincum Museum’s Open Workshop cordially invites all adults interested in learning ancient arts and crafts skills, which can also be put to good use during our busy 21st century daily lives.
31 October (Thursday)
17:00-22:00: Samhain – Celtic Halloween
31 October marks the final day of our temporary exhibition “The People of Dragons and Birds – The Celts of Csepel Island”. Hence, from 17:00 we are organising a Celtic Halloween at the Aquincum Museum.
