Roman Festival 2020

Unfortunately we had to cancel our traditional spring festival, the Floralia in May due to the coronavirus pandemic. The good news is that we don’t have to wait a whole year until the next all-out Roman festival! Join us for a series of colourful events on 12 and 13 September in Aquincum!

Visitors can go back in time, witness the drills of legionaries and the clash of gladiators, try their hand at the ‘Labours of Hercules’ as well as take part in several arts and crafts workshops and other exciting events at out autumn Roman festival!

The number of participants in guided tours in enclosed spaces is limited. Registration at the museum on a first come first served basis.

 Tickets:
Adults: 1900 HUF/person
Adult group ticket (20+ people): 1500 HUF/person
Students and Seniors: 950 HUF/person
Students and Seniors group ticket (10+ people): 750 HUF/person
Family ticket (2 adults 2 children): 3800 HUF/family

To take part in the arts and crafts activities, visitors must purchase an additional arts and crafts ticket. (1 ticket 300 HUF). Arts and crafts tickets can be purchased until 16:00 on both days.

During the event regular discounts do not apply. Journalists, people with disabilities and their companions, visitors younger than 6 or older than 70, as well as teachers accompanying groups of students can visit the event free of charge!

Free entry for residents of District III with a valid address card!
